# Installation ## Requirements - Unreal Engine **5.5-5.8** - Dependent plugins: **MovaCore**, **EnhancedInput**, **Niagara**, **MetaSound**, **OnlineSubsystem** - The runtime module uses **JsonUtilities** (for presets) ## Adding the plugin to a project 1. Copy the `MovaInteract` folder into your project's `Plugins/` directory (or install it from the Fab marketplace listing, which places it there for you). 2. Open the project. Unreal will prompt to rebuild modules if this is a C++ project: accept it. 3. In the editor, go to **Edit → Plugins** and confirm **Mova Interact** is enabled under the *Mova* category. 4. Restart the editor if prompted. ## Enabling for a Blueprint-only project No C++ project is required. All plugin functionality: adding the component, setting up interactions, wiring the Interactor, presets, save/load, is available from Blueprint and the editor UI alone. ## Verifying the install Confirm **Mova Interact** appears under **Edit → Plugins → Mova** and is enabled. Then build Recipe 1 in {doc}`quickstart` (a door that opens on the first press and closes on the next), which exercises the Control Panel, the tag grammar, and playback end to end in about 60 seconds. See {doc}`../guides/debugging` if the plugin does not appear or an interaction does nothing. ## Next step {doc}`quickstart`: three worked recipes that build a door, a proximity lamp, and a gated drawer in a few minutes each.
